"Hmm... It seems that even without the concentration seal, you can use shadows," I thought aloud, sitting in the corner of the training ground and mentally manipulating my shadow. "But for this, it constantly requires considerable concentration and high control over chakra."
After prolonged practice, I managed to master Hiden techniques to an acceptable level even without using my hands. My attempts to increase the speed of shadow movement and the maximum area also contributed.
Thanks to my innate intelligence, strong will, almost continuous absorption of large amounts of information, and increased concentration skills, I had large reserves of not only yin energy but also yang, surpassing even adult Nara clan members in this regard.
For comparison, the ratio of mixed energies among local geniuses is approximately one unit of yin to three units of yang, which is a clear bias towards using clan Hiden and Kekkei Genkai techniques rather than Ninjutsu. In contrast, Uzumaki often have a ratio of one to fifteen on average, again making the use of non-clan Ninjutsu much more complex than for normal shinobi, who balance around one to eight.
Considering my innate energy bias towards yang and the Uzumaki heritage, the application of both Hiden and other techniques posed no problem, unlike Kushina, who had to rely solely on her skills in Fuinjutsu, chains of chakra, as well as Taijutsu and Kenjutsu.
Due to the large amount of yang energy in her chakra, elemental transformations became very difficult or even impossible. Perhaps, if the opportunity arises, I will need to discuss this issue with Mito.
However, that can wait. My next goal in clan techniques is to learn how to use them in motion, as a stationary shinobi is very vulnerable. Although now it's clear why so much time is devoted to teaching the art of disguising oneself and one's chakra.
Considering the constantly flowing chakra from the tenketsu, doing this with large reserves is quite difficult, even with a level of control like Hyuga's. Fortunately, thanks to the ability to separate energy into components, it was possible to prevent the formation and mixing of chakra in the source — a process that usually occurs subconsciously.
Of course, there were other methods like the closed circulation of chakra, but the increasing pressure on chakra channels and the tenketsu themselves made it quite unpleasant. Moreover, you can't maintain such a disguise for long.
That's why Uzumaki are not suited for espionage — they have too many noticeable characteristics. It would be possible to use absorbing seals like the Infuin, but stretching them over the entire body and simultaneously making it possible to use techniques has not been achieved by anyone yet, despite numerous attempts among Fuinjutsu masters.
Even I, with my engineering background and superficial knowledge of computer programs, can't imagine how to do it. However, I have more pressing problems that I can't pass on to the shoulders of clones, apart from developing new Fuinjutsu and training in Hiden techniques. And the most significant of them is sensory perception.
It would seem, what's the problem here — walk around, and your sixth sense will determine who is around you and how much chakra the detecting individuals have, as well as its type. But who has seen a Hyuga with the Byakugan constantly activated?
I haven't. And why is that? Because the amount of information received by the brain is more than it can process in a sufficiently long period of time. That's why even those with Kekkei Genkai like the Byakugan activate their Doujutsu for a relatively short time, depending on their adaptability to use. And this is at a distance of no more than two to three kilometers for average clan members!
My radius is approaching two and a half already! Considering the fact that I am in a large, albeit rural, city where crowds of shinobi live, I have tens of THOUSANDS of targets on my "radar"!!! And how can one process incoming information in such a case without falling into a stupor from its influx?
I can't endure more than half an hour of using my sensory abilities — my head starts to ache terribly. Naturally, there can be no talk of training or working in such a condition. One fainting spell during training with a Rasengan exploding in my face was more than enough.
Unfortunately, I haven't learned to limit my sensitivity yet, unlike dividing the nearby and faraway targets. So I have to suppress sensory perception for a somewhat normal existence. But an hour a day for training this ability is clearly not enough, and there is no free time at all, especially now that Saya has returned to the ranks of active kunoichi.
It's good that no one sent her to the front due to her long absence from practice, sending her to patrol the internal territory of the Fire Country, clearing out discovered bandits and enemy saboteurs along with a team of Chunin.
