"Forget the half-eaten deer dragging this back to camps going to be a bitch." Damon said as they both took one side of the beast and started carrying it back to camp.
Luckily Damon and Wells were both extremely huge guys.
Wells stood at 6,2 weighing 225 pounds of pure muscle whereas Damon was at 6,3 weighing 235 pounds of pure muscle.
Finally, Damon and Wells made it back to camp as the sun was setting and as they appeared at the camp walls that were coming together quite fast when people noticed their return and what was in their hands.
"Oh my god!" A woman screamed and everyone looked over and saw two massive men carrying a four-hundred-pound grizzly bear that made them look small.
"Holy crap it's a grizzly!" someone who recognized the beast from a book screamed.
"Damon!"
"Wells!"
Bellamy and Clarke heard the Ruckus and came running over and when they saw the grizzly bear they were carrying their jaws dropped.
"We brought dinner!" Damon and Wells smiled as they tossed the giant beast down onto a tarp they would use to skin the beast without making a mess everywhere.
"Let's keep the fur on this thing. I need another coat." Damon smiled as they began skinning the animal and cleaning it before Damon cleaned the fur with water and set it aside to make himself a coat later.
Finally, all of the meat was cleaned and cut up while some of the bones were kept for mementos and jewelry.
Damon made a nice Necklace with the bear's claws before also making another necklace that he decided to give to someone later.
Wells also went and used one claw to make himself a necklace with a single bear claw that looked really good on him.
After that, they passed out the meat to everyone so they could start cooking and getting ready to eat.
Sadly, it hadn't rained yet and the only water they had was the few containers they had brought with them meaning they didn't have any shower water or anything like that, though they still used toothbrushes they had brought with them to wash and clean their teeth.
It looked like Wells, and he would stay muddy and dirty until tomorrow morning when he decided he would head to the nearby creek to take a bath.
But first, it was time for him to eat some meat for the first time in forever.
All they had on the ark was dispensed goo and the nutrient bags which were taken in through the blood.
Damon walked over to where Clarke was sitting alone under a tree chewing on a big piece of meat that was on a stick.
He had one as well.
"Good isn't it." Damon smiled at Clarke as she chowed down on the meat like it was her first meal in days.
"Mmm!" Clarke licked her lips while looking shy as she hadn't even noticed Damon sitting next to her.
"Yes, it's the best thing I've ever tasted," Clarke said, and she wasn't lying as the only thing she ever ate was the arks dispensed goo that tasted like shit.
"Here I made this for you, thought you'd like it." Damon pulled out the Bear claw necklace he had made and showed it to Clarke whose mouth opened wide.
"Oh my gosh, Damon it's amazing thank you." Clarke smiled as she looked at the necklace made of bear claws.
It was the first jewelry piece she was ever given made from something on earth. She loved it.
"Here let me put it on you," Damon said before reaching over and slowly putting the necklace on Clarke and letting the bear claw settle right between her boobs that were quite easy to see making him gulp before looking away.
Unlucky or luckily for him Clarke caught where he had been looking and smirked when she saw him grow nervous.
She hardly ever saw Damon nervous and she kind of liked it.
Damon wasn't by any meaning of the word a simp but for the 100 years he was training in the cryo pod he wasn't around any type of woman that he wasn't killing so it meant a lot for him to be around someone he actually cared about and found himself attracted to.
Looking back over he saw Clarke smiling at him.
"It looks beautiful on you," Damon said with a smile before they went back to eating their delicious food and making jokes as they watched the rest of the one hundred eat and relax after a hard day of work.
The walls were already coming along good as well as the rest of the camp. The command tent along with the rest of the sleeping tents had already all been set up for tonight while the latrines were already dug and being used.
This was good as they could turn the waste into material for gunpowder in the future.
As Damon was sitting and talking with Clarke, he noticed someone watching him out of the corner of his eye making him frown before looking over making the other person look away instantly.
This might not have been noticed by someone else but Damon had the senses of a demon and he could smell if someone was even looking at him wrong.
"Finn," Damon whispered with a disgusted frown.
