Within the confines of the flaming cage, Gabriel shook his head. In the wake of the events on the hundredth floor, he had not anticipated another battle so soon, yet it seemed these individuals had no intention of allowing him to depart without a fight.

"If that's the way it is," he muttered, summoning the Ancestral Staff of Darkness.

"Darkness's Haven."

The entire space within the Flaming Prison was ablaze with fire. No mage, no matter how strong their defenses, could endure being incinerated to ashes within such a prison.

"See? It was simplicity itself. You all worried needlessly. The so-called Holy Priest," Yoan sneered, "was nothing more than an insect, destined to be squashed beneath my foot!"
