KELLY’s POV

It had only been an hour since I had learned about Cheol's obsession with Stella, and until now, I was still crying. He had contacted me numerous times throughout the day, but I had not answered or returned any of his calls. I wondered if he was concerned about my well-being.

Although my eyelids were drooping closed, sleeping wouldn't come to me. I wanted to sleep for the whole day so that I won’t think of him.

My eyes were puffy from the continual stream of tears I had shed over the course of the previous few hours, and my heart bled from the knowledge that the guy I cherished was in love with another woman.

It's not the first time I've wished my father was present. The tears threatened to erupt again, so I cuddled myself even more under the heavy blankets, sniffling as they threatened to erupt. The frightening notion that Cheol may never occupy my bed again because I won't let him, seemed to amplify the sense of emptiness I was feeling inside of me.
