KELLY's POV
An hour had passed since Cheol left me here in this new suite but I still couldn’t get myself to sleep. I stared at the high ceiling above me while my heart was beating fast. I rolled onto my side, attempting to close my eyes once more, but it was unsuccessful.
I turned around to face the opposite direction, and this time I tried to sleep by squeezing my eyes shut, but they just opened on their own, and didn’t work.
A yearning sigh escaped my lips as I lay down on my back. My chest was heaving up and down. What is it about me that makes it so difficult to sleep? This was completely absurd.
It's tough for me to sleep right now because of what happened. Right now, the thought of me sleeping makes me feel like I'm putting myself in danger.
If I’d slept in my room earlier tonight, I wouldn’t have heard the sound of the intruder breaking in and he would have straddled me on the bed. I was lucky that I hadn’t fallen asleep.
