“Baby…” I whispered. “Did I do something wrong? What is it? Tell me, so that I know what to adjust. So that I know what to do. So that you’ll accept me again.” urgency filled my tone. My heart thumped wildly inside my chest, and anger build up inside me.

She shook her head, holding my hand in hers to calm me down. “There’s nothing you can do about it, Uno…”

“What?!”

“Uno…I—“ she began. “I don’t think we can do this.” her words made my frown deepen. “I don’t think we can stay like this.” she stuttered.

Now, I was starting to hate myself for not understanding her sentence. “What the hell, Ash! Get me straight to the point!”

She flinched by my sudden loud voice and I pulled her into a hug and whispered ‘I’m sorry.’

“Uno, I’m not going to study college here in Seoul,” she said.
