I entered the school gate, holding the straps of my backpack as I walked along the halls, passing other students who were chatting with their friends and joking around.

“Is that Ashley?” I heard someone ask the girl beside her. They were probably shocked with how I looked right now.

I never wear pants. I was a skirt girl. But right now, I felt like I wanted to hide from them. To cover myself from everyone.
