章 21: Avatar world
Isamu felt a rush of pure energy invade his body . He opened his eyes and he saw he was enclosed in a stream of pure energy that travelled at incredible speeds . Outside the stream was a myriad of stars and planets that perfectly harmonized with each other to bring the best of it's beauty .
Infront him he saw a small ball sized planet but gradually it became bigger and bigger . Once he was close enough he saw to other streams close in on his with two unknown people . They seemed to meet on the surface of the world .
Isamu watched as the world closed in before there was only light . His ears rang horribly and he felt an intense pain. He heard two people groan in pain beside him . After a few moments the pain subsided as the white blinding light slowly dissipated revealing the dense forest .
" I'll never get used to this " A girl to his left murmured .
" Tell me about it " Another girl murmured.
He looked closely at them . They both wore a green attire common in the avatar earth kingdom . Their features seemed native to this world with only some slight differences to them . One of them had fangs and another white eyes.
The white eyed girl looked to Isamu .
" You must be Isamu , nice to meet you . " She said as she extended an arm for a handshake . Isamu reciprocated.
" Nice to meet you Gojo " Isamu responded.
" Oh my eyes right ? "
Isamu nodded . She had black hair and was short compared to the real Gojo . She however was quite beautiful with toned body and a curvy ass but nearly nonexistent boobs.
The other girl rose up and stretched herself . She also had black hair and black eyes . She seemed to be blessed fully in all the right assets . She was incredibly beautiful for one but the two facial structures seemed alike.
She stretched her hand towards the two and raised them from the ground.
" We should look first, find out where we are " Lyz suggested.
" First hi Su Yan . " Isamu greeted showing a charming smile.
" Second can you briefly explain what is happening ?" Isamu asked.
" Oh this is your first time . Basically we travelled to another world where our mission is to recruit someone fromme here and kill a reincarnator " Satomi said.
" I wasn't talking about that Gojo , I was asking about our bodies . " Isamu clarified.
" Oh you must have felt the difference " Lyz noted.
" Our sponsor technically isn't an all powerful being and this isn't her world yet . So to mask us from the divine being monitoring this world , we possess bodies native to this world . "
" So no powers from before or growth while we are here " Isamu asked . He seemed disappointed.
" Not necessarily , I am still a vampire though currently with only 1 percent of my abilities. Satomi has her eyes and you have your lightning . "
Isamu didn't even ask how she knew, cultivator crap . Though he didn't use his lightning that was inherited from his father , he still had it.
" But no accumulated ki " Isamu said.
" To better hide us. If we fully had our abilities this would just make the deity of this planet find us easily but we can't die so our abilities are there but weakened. And as for not gaining anything we actually do gain something "
" The points and every gain we get from our characters " Satomi finished for Lyz.
" Hey I was talking " Lyz said slightly agitated .
" You were dragging things Lyz , we better get moving . I am starved " Satomi said.
Suddenly they heard ruffling of sounds and a lady wearing a kyoshi warriors attire appeared . She seemed angry especially when she looked at Isamu .
Isamu felt a rush of memories appear in his mind . Nothing too startling just a few things involving the body he possessed though not enough to actually change him
She angrily approached Isamu and held his cheek before squeezing it .
" What the hell are you doing here ? I told you to go and buy groceries . " The lady said .
" Ow ow ow . I forgot Suki " Isamu responded .
Suki punched his guts . Isamu recoiled in pain
" Damn you gorilla of a sister " Isamu responded earning him another punch .
Suki then turned to the other two girls.
" Sonam , Sumati . I hope my brother did suggest anything weird " Suki said with a hint of disgust suggested at her brother.
Isamu understood why she said that . Tau was a thoroughly perverted boy who couldn't get close to any girl apart from their closest neighbours Sonam and Sumati. He was loathed for the way he acted but that was done secretly . After all his sister was the leader of the Kyoshi warriors.
Sonam aka Lyz shook her head.
" No , we were heading to try and catch some small fish to pass time " Sonam said.
Sumati aka Satomi didn't say anything but secretly glanced at Sonam incredulously . This was the perfect time to have some fun by throwing Isamu under the bus
" Oh , alright . You can go ahead without Tau , he still needs to go and buy groceries " Suki said the last part harshly .
" We are actually going back to the village " Sumati said.
" Oh that's wonderful . Would you two want to eat some of my special cooked koi fish ?"
Sumati's mouth slightly watered and her eyes brightened .
" Yes please " She quickly agreed . The previous Sumati loved Suki's way of cooking and Satomi was a huge food junkie so she quickly agreed.
The four now walked back to the village . The village had nothing special. The houses were wooden with grass thatched roofs set in an orderly manner . There was a giant statue of kyoshi seen from afar in one end and there was also kyoshi shrine beautifully decorated in one end.
Suki, Tau and Mingxia would go and compare their shoe size to Kyoshi's .
They went to Tau's and Suki's place where Suki made Tau hurry to buy the groceries while she prepared to cook . After two hours everything was prepared and Sumati was violently dishing the food.
The rest ate slowly but that came to a halt for Suki as she received an urgent notice.
" Intruders have arrived " One of the kyoshi warriors informed Suki by the door.
Suki immediately stood up and took her fans.
" Stay out of trouble " Suki warned Tau before walking away hurriedly.
It was now the three of them .
" Any chance that this reincarnated person is the avatar ? " Isamu asked his idiotic and comical face turning serious.
" Highly likely , after all people are attracted to power and if we have been given the mission to kill the reincarnator that means he is dangerous "
" Aren't we all "
" Not in that sense , our sponsor might be an evil deity but she is a necessary one who does not enjoy mindless killing. She would rather recruit a reincarnator rather than kill one . That is unless she deems a reincarnator dangerous " Lyz said.
Isamu pondered about this . It was stupid to say that she was threatened because someone who actually puts rewards such as Wang Lin's template like a mere toy wouldn't be threatened.
Lyz noticed this.
" She deems him or her dangerous because this person is highly likely to destroy this world and since she wants this world that reincarnator is a threat to this world . " Lyz explained.
" We are basically colonizers in a way " Satomi summarized.
Lyz turned to Satomi .
" Colonizers actually occupy land , we just bridge a connection to this world with our sponsor " Lyz lecturned Satomi .
" Alright alright , let us first find if the reincarnator is with the avatar group . " Satomi said.
However they did not need to figure too much out because the moment they got out an unconscious Suki was being carried back by the Kyoshi warriors .
