Zion ran out from behind the storage building into the main area where others were walking and mingling. Some spotted him and immediately started talking while pointing to his arm.

"Wait, what happened to his arm?"

"That's one of the top 20... I think his name was Zion?"

"He's covered in blood. Is he okay?"

Various conversations about his bloodied state echoed around him, causing his ears to twitch as he looked around fiercely and continuously.

Before he managed to spot a teacher, however, he heard the low growl behind him and his fur stood on end. He spun around and quickly faced the wendigo that had followed him.

When students saw it, some screamed in fright while others immediately ran off. The wendigo had a natural aura that terrified them. Adding to its grotesque and bloodied visage, it wasn't surprising.
