章 333: Mi reina

I woke up to the soft hum of birds chirping outside the window, the golden rays of the morning sun pouring into the room.

My body felt heavy, like I'd been run over by a truck, but instead of pain, it was a delicious ache that made my cheeks burn as last night's memories came flooding back. 

Carmen's arm was draped possessively across my waist, her leg tangled with mine. Her breathing was slow and steady, her face peaceful in the soft morning light. But I wasn't feeling quite as tranquil. 

Stretching carefully, I winced at the soreness in my thighs, shoulders, and, well… everywhere. I let out a groan, flopping back against the pillow. It wasn't just soreness—it was exhaustion, like Carmen had siphoned every ounce of energy out of me. 

"She's a vampire," I muttered under my breath. 

At my movement, Carmen stirred. Her eyes fluttered open, a lazy smirk spreading across her face when she saw me. "Good morning," she murmured, her voice husky and low.
