The next morning, sunlight filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow over the bedroom. Carmen and I woke up slowly, savoring the peaceful morning after the previous day's events. As I stretched and reached for my phone on the nightstand, I noticed a new message notification.

"It's from my agent," I said, glancing at Carmen who was still lying beside me, her eyes half-closed.

"Oh? What's it about?" she asked, propping herself up on one elbow.

"I have a modeling job today," I replied, reading through the details. "It's for a fashion magazine shoot, and they want me there by noon."

Carmen smiled, looking genuinely pleased. "That's great, Elena! Do you need any help getting ready?"

I nodded. "Actually, yes. I'd love for you to come with me."

"Of course," she said, kissing my forehead. "Let's make this day amazing."
