章 40: Chapter Thirty Nine: The Impossible Sexually Explicit Request

Ciara's POV

"Sleeping?" he emphasized. I jolted upright, sleep vanishing from my eyes.

"Wait, really? You're sleeping, and you're not even done packing. Look at this mess everywhere," his eyes danced around the place, even landing on me.

Scooting out of bed, I apologized, "I'm sorry, Frederick needed me and I fell asleep. I'm really sorry."

Somehow, his shout didn't wake Frederick, and I was thankful for that. I didn't want him seeing this side of Vulcan. He drew in sharp breaths, and I could feel he was trying so hard to control his temper.

"I'm really sorry, I'll pack right away," I assured him.

"You should," he declared sternly. "I'm giving you five minutes. Don't exceed that, Ciara." He left the room, his storming footsteps echoing in the hallway.
