Grace took out everything they bought and placed it on the shelf. As she was lost in thought, Raymond approached her, took the bottle of wine and lighter, and turned to leave.
"Don't you think it's weird?" Grace asked, and he raised a brow. What was weird? Was she still going to taunt him about being addicted?
"They looked at us like we were some aliens, and that man looked like a good man, but he was just so angry at me." She couldn't seem to wrap things around her head.
Raymond scoffed. That was none of his business. If they like, then they should even point fingers at him while he walks around; the problem will be when they attack him first.
"Freshen up and eat; stop bothering about small matters," he hissed, picked up a bag before he hurried upstairs.
Grace shrugged her shoulders, picked up the chopstick, and began eating the noodles. She was starving and could only think properly after eating.
