章 100: Irritated

Everything was going fine, in fact she'd enjoyed the greatest amount of peace for hours now since the intended Queen and her maids left the room.

A little peek outside through a tiny space within the door showed her the complete desertion of the room. No words for spoken to her, of which she could only be somewhat grateful for. Ever since that shameful night, she's been dreading stepping out to the open again. Castle rock and it's people had managed to forcefully bend her neck to her throat to in shame, and now meeting anyone's eyes was like revisiting that night all over again.

But her peace was short lived.

The only window in the room suddenly burst open ushering in a gust of chilly wind that roused goosebumps all over her skin. It was so strong and overwhelming to the point all she could think about was the slow buildup of something else more than cold.
