Just like that, Igor and other knights moved from house to house to ask the residents to vacate. It could also be noted that not all the knights were as sane as Igor, there were some knights who didn't even stoop to talk to the stubborn residents as they walked into their houses and picked them up before throwing them out into the rain, no one was spared, be it an old woman, a man, teenagers or disabled individuals, these insane knights were ruthless and their only concern was to take orders seriously and with passion.
Meanwhile, the registration of the workers didn't stop as it continued further into the night, the people who were chosed to register the workers didn't sleep, they worked in shifts to ensure that the registering was not put on hold. The local workers and the slaves kept coming until 2am when the registration came to an end because all the needed 15, 000 workers had already been accounted for and as for their habitation, the workers were forced to jam-pack in the few houses in Eastern part of Pollow, no one was here for a luxurious trip, thus, getting a small space to sleep was what was needed and as for showering, the workers could go swimming or wash themselves in the Salto river.
Anyway, the rift was more than a kilometer wide and the workers would be forced to walk all that distance so that they could reach the Western part of Pollow for work and since Virtya wanted the workers to reach to their workplace on time, the workers would be needed to start their journey to go work very early in the morning when the sun had not yet shown up. The workers would be needed to walk because the terrain towards the Western part of Pollow was not conducive for the use of carriages, only horses could traverse on the unfavorable terrain. The terrain in the valley was muddy, rocky, steep, swampy, marshy, bushy and the Salto river cuts into their path. Luckily, there was a wooden bridge over Salto river which would enable the workers to cross so that they can get to the Western side safely without the need to have to swim in the salt River. Most parts of Salto river didn't encourage swimming because of the powerful flowage force, large volume of water and the abundance of man eating fishes.
The site where the cement plant was going to be situated had already been marked and if one looked at where the cement plant would be, they would see that it was planned to be situated on a slightly tall hill that had a plateau at the top as if the hill's top was cut by something.
Under this hill, the uneven land stretched Eastwards for a few metres towards the valley and there, the Salto river's path was almost close to the edge of the valley but once again it took a sharp corner towards the Eastern for a few metres and then it plunged downwards thus, forming a 100 metres waterfall before it continues forward on the far below.
The rugged and unevenness of the Western part of Pollow was not suitable for habitation but only for farming. However, what dominated the Western part of Pollow was not farming but forestry with limited wild animals here and there. The Western part of Pollow was dominated mostly by countless forested hills which were so steep, some mountains could also be seen but, overally, almost 90% of the Western part of Pollow was muddy and swampy. Coupled with wild animals, dangerous insects inhabited this place. All this was just the upper surface of the Western part of Pollow that makes it unsuitable for habitation which forced Virtya to decide to place the shelters for the workers in the Eastern part of Pollow.
From the positioning of the plant, Virtya planned to use the flowing power of the waterfall to power the movable machines of the cement plant.
Clearly, Virtya could have been in Pollow before even the workers arrived, but he had still not arrived because he was currently in the blacksmithing guild in Whiten, here, Virtya was overseeing the fabrication of the steel that would be used to make the faces of the cement plant.
As one should know, there was a furnace in the blacksmithing guild that helped the blacksmiths to melt the iron ingots and then mold them into the desirable shapes.
This furnace had not been in use for a decade but a week ago when the iron ingots from the kingdom of Litbridge arrived, Virtya decided to reopen this furnace to start working.
