Caspian put on the shoes as he said that, while Jael only dug his hole deeper.

The fact that the Beta actually considered getting heels made him relieved that Jael hadn't tried to pick out an outfit for him.

"You don't sound very grateful," Jael scratched his head.

"Don't push it or I'll choke you with the pearls."

"Got it," Jael quickly got with the program, straightening up.

"Can I take the car Asher got for me?" Caspian asked, wearing the necklace Jael got for him despite his disapproval.

Jael was slightly surprised by that, "Sure, I'll make the arrangements."
