章 70: Masked-man intervenes

Stuck in the void of this dimensionless space, Leo could hardly do anything but just remain where he was, as he was. 

And yet, when faced with this familiar, petite figure with curves that appeared unfit to the relative shortness of the body, the golden-brown hair only reaching as far as the chin, the fierce gentleness, as contradictory as it might feel… 

When faced with all of those, Leo couldn't help but just stare at the figure hidden away in the very center of the nexus of magical flows. 

'What the hell is she doing here?!'

He knew this woman. Better than he knew anyone else in the world, even though they've never taken the step to move from just close friends and companions to actual partners. 

And with all things considered, it wasn't even all that long since he last saw her!
