章 138: Kiamat

In the heart of the forest, nestled amongst towering tree, stood a small, weathered cabin. Its wooden frame, etched with the passage of countless seasons, seemed to hold its breath in the stillness of the night. This was the secluded dwelling of Gariel, son of the legendary angel, Gabriel, also known as 'Mr. Two'—the second strongest human alive.

Ngek! Gariel sat hunched over a rough-hewn chair, his brow furrowed in deep concentration. An unsettling feeling gnawed at him, a premonition that chilled him to the bone.

"...Kiamat," he murmured, the ancient word for 'end of the world' tasting bitter on his tongue. "It feels closer than ever… Father." 

He lifted his gaze to the star-dusted night sky, a silent plea escaping his lips. "Gabriel, I, your son Gariel, hope you remember me."
