"What a fine evening, and they've ruined it!" Greg Jensen frowned in annoyance and kicked the corpse on the ground before calling Xavier Cooper. He wanted his men to clean up the mess and figure out who was after his life. In his mind, the assassins could only belong to a few particular families, but he was determined to find out exactly who was behind the attempt so he could confront them in person.

After the call, Greg stepped out of the alleyway and glanced around. Across the street, on the second floor of a restaurant, he noticed Louisa Burley at the window, anxiously looking out at him. His heart warmed, and he waved to her. Louisa's face brightened with joy; she nodded at Greg and then disappeared from view.

Moments later, Louisa came rushing out of the restaurant, followed by Trey Holmes.

"Brother Greg, are you okay?" she asked, concerned.

"I'm fine," Greg replied, a chuckle in his voice. "With my toughness, nothing can touch me."
