They blamed him for the recent events and instructed him not to leave the house for some time. Thus, he's essentially been confined to his home since his arrival here. What prompts your question?"

Bella was taken aback to learn that Andreas had made it to and remained in New York. She had imagined him still in her country, devising a heinous plan to exact vengeance upon her. But it appeared she had been mistaken.

"When exactly did he get there?" she pressed, seeking confirmation.
