章 220: Naive and innocent (2)

Having booked success with it, Erick performed again as a knight in front of these elders. Who knows they might give him the support he needed. 

Vince and the others looked at Erick in shock.

"...Are you sure?" Vince asked, concerned.

Erick nodded. 

"Please let me have this one."

Vince stared at him for a few seconds then made everyone walk.

"As long as you rest now. Let Terry's drug wear off before you leave."

Erick nodded. He followed the rest to his quarters, which was a single bedroom space. 

'At least as a knight I don't need to share my bed with anyone, anymore.'

He changed and jumped into bed. Whether it was Terry's drugs or something else, Erick didn't know, but he slept long and well. It was past midnight when he woke up.

There was a washing bowl on top of a table. Erick used that to freshen up. He left his room and went to Derick, who brought him to the gate.
