章 13: The Intimate Night

Soon, it was dinner time. Zachary has not fully recovered yet, so he did not go to the dining room to eat.

Maisie did not want to stay alone in a lonely place to eat. So, she decided to accompany him.

"Mr. Stunder, I brought you some food," Maisie says as she enters the bedroom.

Zachary lies on the bed with a blanket on his body, covering the lower part of his body. 

"You didn't have to bother about it; Vanessa would take care of it. Thank you" 

Zachary tried to sit up in bed.

Maisie dropped the tray on the table and rushed to help him sit down, placing a pillow behind him to help him sit well.

Zachary couldn't help but think that his new bride was really innocent. 

He wondered how she got entangled with a horrible person like his brother, Henry Noble.
