The appearance of the portal was not what shook his heart but the voice that came from it.

Why was he hearing her voice in that moment?

Clicking his tongue, he furrowed his brows with annoyance and demanded; "Show yourself! There is no need to try such a simple trick on me. I am not so gullible!"
