"So it really is you, huh?" John murmured softly to himself.

In fact, during the attack in the private room, the sounds of the battle were not very noticeable. Eartha had ensured his privacy by not leaving any attendants nearby outside the door.

The sound of the glass shattering initially didn't attract any inquiry from the staff either.

The few Ghouls were dealt with in less than half a minute. So it shouldn't have drawn much attention.

But Hardy showing up was quite odd.

As a martial artist, Hardy's mental energy shouldn't be developed enough to detect something happening behind a wall from a distance.

John had his suspicions about him then, but without concrete evidence, he didn't jump to conclusions.

Now, however, it seemed like he had caught Hardy in the act.

John didn't rush out to confront him. That would be too dull.
