Shadows roiled and coiled at the edges of my vision, the space crackling in ancient power a strange roaring echoed out in the distance before vanishing quickly. Impressions of mountains hung in the murky greyness before me, a oozy fog-like substance making the majority of this part of the time dimension's topography.
Small hints of red poke out a little here and there before it was consumed by the darkness, screams echoing outwards only to be snuffed in seconds. At this juncture my power was more intense and powerful here, as If I had touched upon the truth of my time powers... Then that feeling too was snuffed, my mind coldly continuing onwards and reaching out for the faint connection I had formed with the two wizards. Time was non-existent here unless controlled thus my soul was just amidst a lighter grey colour instantly. Distant mountains were replaced with featureless dunes and semi-flat land. Trees dotted the land only to wind into the 'sky' and disappear amongst the darkest colours imaginable.
Changing my perspective I began to swirl around, attempting to find where the two were. This was when I realised that below me was a thick golden thread that lead into a multi-coloured circle of green, gold and red. There was a symbol looking close to that of an hour glass, my tattoos on my arms shining as they began to buzz somewhat in energetic recognition. This was chronomancy and most likely something anchoring them to the dimension when they wish... A permanent anchor to this realm probably set up as a circle on their end.
'Couldn't I send through a shadow clone to interact with them?'
|You could, the connection would persist due to the permanent anchor.|
Cracking my metaphorical neck I stretched my fingers out and flexed my magic and concepts that were used in shadow clones. One copy of me emerged and stood before me, its presence slowly starting to wane as the chaotic powers of this dimension eroded the very existence of things outside of independent timelines.
Before it faded any more I shot it through the anchor, using the concepts of time, control, direction, places and names. Blue essence and Green essence collected around me as it funnelled through the shadow clone and bound within it. Control was used to open the gateway for the clone whilst direction, place and name were used in quick succession to make it appear on Exandria, In the city that the two were living and more specifically, to appear next to them. The Clone vanished as quickly as I had manipulated the stuff of reality.
...
My vision swooned as vibrant kaleidoscopic colours and spatial anomalies phased through my senses. Reality was pulled apart and the reforged as my entire clone was resisted against, as if something on Exandria was trying to stop me. Like fuck it could though as I began to pull upon the concept of evasion and subterfuge. In an instant the defences were bypassed as the Blue Essence moulded the connection perfectly and created a tunnel for me. Like a refuge taking a smuggler's cavern I slipped through the pathway, my clone slamming down in a wooden room.
Glass bottles and many metallic materials clanked and clinked as the force of my landing caused cracks to spread through the wooden floors. Small screeches of wind from outside careened inside as the entire room around me was empty. My magic had gotten to the point where I was most likely in the same building or house, but I wasn't in the same room. The room was rustic and looked very homely, magical tomes and papers adorning the tables as bottles filled with varying colourful liquids slowly swirled in residual energy.
Some footsteps emerged from outside of the door in front of me, the door itself a thick oak door with lead lining and stone structure around it. Intense vibrational sounds and sensations rushed out from the other side as the door blasted inwards, swinging on its hinges to reveal a purple robed dark elf man, silver-white hair swept to one side with beautiful cleanliness to it. His robes were impeccable as in his hands was an array of magical glyphs of the Dunamantic school of magic.
"Stay still! I will-" His voice cut off as I stood up to my full height and adjusted my clothing to match his robes.
"Sup Essek! Nice to see you."
The magic in his hands fizzled, his eyes matching with mine before incredulity spread amongst his features. I could sense that he was hovering above the ground now, his feet leaving the floor as his eyes began to scan my form haphazardly.
"H-hello...?"
I walked forwards and made out as if I was looking around in interest. This was when another voice echoed from down the hallway, another man's voice. Caleb Widogast's rather German sounding accent emerging from the far end of the house.
"Essek? What is wrong?" Essek himself dropped back down to the ground, shouting back out to his partner.
"We, have a guest, from that one dimension..." A dull thud echoed out, the sound of a book dropping to the ground as footsteps followed it in quick succession. I stood a few feet away from Essek as I sat down on the air, a spectral version of a seat emerging below my ass as I almost fell.
Footsteps quickly became louder as Essek stepped back a little, allowing Caleb to step into the doorway somewhat and see me. Seeing me, he widened his eyes and quickly started calculating the possibilities of how I was able to achieve this despite the wards placed on their magics and presences.
"So, can I chat with you two?" They looked at one another for a few moments before Essek nodded and Caleb stepped back and extended his hand in direction to where he had come just a few seconds before. Their other hands were at their sides, suspiciously close to pouches that were tightly bound.
"Of course. Please don't use magic whilst you are here..."
"Sure! No problem, I am here to ask for your help anyway."
Glancing towards one another they slowly followed behind me as I walked out into their living room. Frescos and paintings of various adventures and events were scattered throughout. Depictions of Uk'otoa and Aeor being the most prominent as many figures that I noticed were the Mighty Nein were tactfully scattered around. A chair zoomed forwards to the middle of the room as arm chairs were dragged behind me. It was obvious that they wished for me to sit on this seat in particular. Since it was me who was asking for help here, I decided to acquiesce.
"Silviana, what caused you to force your way into this world?" Essek nodded along with Caleb's question as they waited for my answer in trepidation.
"Hmm, it is hard to explain... Let us start at the beginning shall we..."
...
Half an hour passed as I explained the situation of Tensura and the threat i had just been notified about. Mentioning Chaos caused Caleb to pale as he had many experiences against psychic threats before. Corruption was not an easy topic to mention to him and even then I didn't get as much of a reaction from that as I did when I told him of the Chaos Gods themselves. Essek wasn't reacting too much to the information, his hand ceaselessly weaving over the top of a book as he no doubt recorded every detail in as extreme clarity as he could manage.
"I cannot help slay gods or stop the invasion... it isn't my world and I don't have the power..."
"Hehehe, don't worry, I am not asking you both to fight."
"What is it you wish of us then?" Essek was the one to speak up this time as his recording stopped completely.
"You see, we cannot win against Chaos either. So we intend to flee."
"Hmmm, but if what you said is true, than there is nothing in that other realm that could be safe."
"Truly perceptive... We wish to flee to another Multiverse. For this we need a monumental amount of power and an anchor..."
Caleb's eyes widened as he turned towards Essek and seemed to communicate with him via his eyes. I smiled, working with intelligent people was truly a blessing as he instantly understood the monumental chance that this was. To learn from me and forge an anchor on this side.
"Fleeing to Exandria... W-what??? Isn't this extremely dangerous!?"
Closing my eyes I sighed and then opened them again.
"No. I would use all of the power at my disposal to ensure the safe landing of our land mass in a secure place on the planet. I wouldn't wish to replace a continent or anything. I mean I could even make our land float if you wish..."
"You have that magic...? Wait, no...! So, you want to run away from that 'multiverse' into our own? What guarantees do we have you won't start killing the entire world with your enhanced magic and powers? Even if were willing to do this..."
"Our power is sourced by the fact that there is no gods within our Multiverse."
"So... If you come here where there is an entire pantheon, you will be lowered to the same capabilities that we could achieve."
"Yes, and no. We who have reached certain levels of power could already be considered Demi-Gods or Lesser Gods in a way. Our concepts still remain, they are just weakened in full potency due to the god's existence."
Caleb frowned an instant after I explained that as worry creased his eyes.
"What will the gods have to say about this?"
"I'd have to speak with them... It's a part of the reason I only sent a clone."
They blinked a few times before comprehending that this powerful form of mine was just a clone of some sort. It was funny to watch their shock and horror at my casual comment. My happiness was short lived however as I felt many gazes zooming in towards me, the protections I had between me and the gods degrading as they used their concepts and essences to find ways around my intent.
"Speaking of the gods, they are coming for me... Please think on what I have asked. I will teach you more about concepts and essences and spread this knowledge to you so you can pass it down to your kids."
Yet again I was unable to hear a response as sunlight emerged around me and yanked me upwards, well, my clone upwards. Space cracked and slithered as my form was translocated to a place behind the Divine Gate. As the light cleared I saw the entire pantheon of Exandria standing before me. Betrayers' avatars were even here at this moment.
I chuckled.
"Hello! Nice to meet you all. I am Silviana! Daughter of Tiamat and Gaia."

Surprise! Let's see how this goes!?
