As she glanced aside, one figure after another came into view. "Silvia."

"Lilou," Silvia murmured, giving her a thorough once-over, discerning for certain that something was amiss with Lilou.

Dominique, too, fixed his gaze on Lilou, his hands gradually clenching into fists. "Lakresha, whatever are you contemplating?"

"Hehe!" Lilou's giggle was nearly exuberant as she clasped her hands behind her back, hopped up the stairs, and sank onto the throne.
