To say the battle was going well for them, would be a lie, you'd think having two Disassemblers, one of which is a Mark III.
Alongside a mysterious witch-like Russian drone who had the occupation of a teacher would at least translate to some kind of progress or formidable force.
It was not.
Meili was currently contemplating her life choices as her face, which was face planted deep into the concrete. They were barely five minutes into the fight and she was already feeling shit.
Granted, she was already injured beforehand when she arrived here, the Humanoid Eldritch she fought alongside Len had done some considerable damage to her, considerable, but not enough to put her out of commission.
This thing however was.. What was the term that younger generations use nowadays?
Ah right.
Downright fucking bullshit, or freaking OP, whatever the term they used against people that were damn impossible to beat.
Even after she had relayed what Uzi told her about the Eldritch, they barely managed to do anything as the Eldritch would simply brute force its way through, dodging was a difficult task as it is with their injuries.
J had the hardest time because she couldn't move, she was the most injured one out of the three of them, the Russian Teacher on the other hand was doubling in pain every now and then.
She was the only one who was properly set to fight right now, sleeping inside the ground like this wouldn't do.
Meili struggled to push herself out of the concrete, a few tries of pulling herself away from the ground she managed to brute force her way out.
Finally regaining sight of what was happening, she saw Doll being slammed into the wall.
'Oh damn, was that her arm the Eldritch was chewing onto?'
It obviously was, considering she was screaming in pain, she assumed. Meili couldn't hear anything for some reason, probably had something inside her head being racked. She took a punch straight to the face after all, it was a miracle she could still see, with how busted her headbands and optics were.
Her optics moved to see a group of drones crowding together inside a building, which was.. A street away from where she was.
Right, about two minutes ago, J took the full blunt of a fist from the Eldritch after they were both grabbed. It had sent her flying violently fast and inside the building.
Was her Mistress still alive..?
Damn, everything was going numb for her, judging by the fact she couldn't feel her legs nor her lack of reaction to her comrades literally being torn apart.
...
SHIT! FUCK! WHAT IS SHE DOING SITTING AROUND LIKE AN IDIOT!
Doll was quite literally being eaten alive, there was a good chunk of her right shoulder missing, her arm barely hanging by a few wires and steel threads. What had happened in the mere few seconds she was inside the ground?! She couldn't tell if she was out for only a few seconds or a few minutes with how numb her mind was.
J could be out of the fight, or worse, dead.
The group of drones that were entering the building she was flung at were obviously the JSD, they're probably tending to her if she's still alive.
She really hoped she was still alive, she was still her boss despite her alcoholic tendencies.
Meili let loose to her wings and sprung towards Clawdreroff, who was fortunately (unfortunately for Doll) distracted.
Distracted eating a chunk of Doll's shoulder who had tears in her unpatched eye, her left arm clawing at the Eldritch.
'Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit! SHIT!'
Meili spun like a drill towards the eldritch, before landing a spinning kick at the side of its head, the Eldritch's head flung to the side, making it let go of Doll. Meili scowled and sent a full blast of her cannons towards the Eldritch, blowing it away inside a bakery(Damn, and they sold good food too.)
The Eldritch was invincible to damage, but did not mean it was invulnerable to being knocked away, Meili took one swift look at Doll who leaned to a wall, grasping at her shoulder in pain.
Doll uncharacteristically weeped a few droplets of tears from her free eye, there was so much pain! She'd received worse attacks before but that was with the Solver, she was pretty sure she could handle pain but for some reason, anything this damn Eldritch had sent flying to them made their pain receptors CRY in pain, was it a part of its abilities?!
Seeing that Doll was gasping for dear life and was obviously low on Oil, Meili couldn't count on her to help her in this fight, which meant she had to fight this thing alone .
Where was the help they were waiting for?! It's been minutes and there hasn't even been a single sign of reinforcement except from the occasional WDF or JSD giving cover from a distance whenever they can, but their help was useless if the bullets didn't even go through!
The street near the Mall had turned to some kind of battlefield with how damaged the area was from their fight, she needed to somehow end this before the fight could even get to the populated areas of the Outpost.
She approached the bakery with caution, laser cannon on the left, sword on the right.
CRASH!
She was right to be careful as the front of the bakery exploded in shrapnels and debris as the Eldritch made to pounce on her.
Meili weaves to the right, her movements made faster by her wings.
She needed all the speed she could get right now, even if there was the risk of her wings being grabbed by the Eldritch.
The Eldritch rammed towards the ground, face first before hammering its fists to the ground and redirecting its trajectory.
She continued to dodge away from the slaughter machine that was Clawdreroff, just like it had done before, it was redirecting itself by slamming its fists so hard it blew itself into her general direction.
'Ohh fuck no, this thing is learning to do tricks.'
That was bad, like really bad.
She tried to gain vantage by flying upwards, only for her to hear the sound of something booming below her.
She wished she hadn't looked down but it was too late, the first thing she saw was the rocketing form of the Eldritch flying TOWARDS her, its mouth open.
'Fuck.'
SNAP!
And just like that, a good chunk of her stomach side was missing.
S-She barely lasted a minute..
Damn.. It..
Just as all flying creatures eventually do, she started falling towards the ground as her vision blackened.

Good hunt.
The Eldritch had found itself a really good hunt, the best even!
It was gleefully cheering internally as it swallowed the piece of chunk it had eaten away from its flying prey.
This prey was one of the stronger ones, 'Murder Drone' or whatever it was called, it somehow knew it from memories it shouldn't have.. Just like the memory it has of its supposed 'family', they were not his pack since they looked like the usual prey it eats.
"Jon, dear! It's time for dinner!"

Why was it seeing these images ever since it entered this nest filled with prey..?
It somehow felt right to be here as there was this feeling of being 'home'

What was it thinking about again? Oh right! It was time to claim its rightful food to eat, it had been fighting three females for a while now, one of females having some weird red light trick which was annoying.
Clawdreroff fell towards the ground, Meili crashing first before it landed in a crater a few meters away from her.
It licked its lips hungrily as it prepared to eat the fallen prey with wings, but then it remembered, it can do anything right now right?
Should it mate with it or eat it..? It needed more of its kind if it was going to make a pack again after all.
The Eldritch simply grabbed Meili by her shoulders and opened its mouth, the other prey with the weird side hairs was stronger, it'll just mate with that one and eat this one here.
Its jaws inched forward to eat the woman's head in one swallow.
But suddenly, a familiar scent entered its olfactory, it dropped Meili and looked towards the direction of where the scent was coming from, it was slowly coming towards its location, slow, but still approaching.
A scent that it really despised, the same scent that wiped out its pack days ago..
That accursed purple prey..
Was it prey though..? If it killed predators like itself.
But there's another scent mixed with it, who was this?
It didn't care
It didn't know who it was, but not only was it hungry, it was also angry. It was going to eat that prey alive slowly and toy with them.
Its instincts overcoming its more sound mind, it released a loud roar filed with range and barreled towards the scent.

She didn't like the feel of this, Luzi couldn't shake off this terrible feeling.
Half an hour ago, there was an explosion that had erupted from somewhere the Mall was located it, it was obviously no accident as she could hear the gunshots from afar, there was something inside the Outpost if the JSD and WDF Members she came across running around in a hurry we're anything to go by.
Not to mention what her audio receptors heard..
She and her friends including her sisters ran back to her house, they needed to be somewhere safe if there really was an Eldritch inside the city.
She thought. "Oh it's fineee, Auntie J is still inside, she's the strongest Disassembly drone there is!", her anxiety only got worse when someone knocked on their door minutes later.
There was a young JSD member who looked a few years older than her gasping for breath.
Her core dropped to her stomach followed by a chilling shiver running throughout her body.
Auntie J was hurt.
And she needed her help, Luzi didn't hesitate to grab her Plasma Railgun, she practically yelled at Quinzlet and Brad ti stay out and protect her sisters before rushing outside the house, both of which didn't even get to say anything or attempt to stop her.
Luzi could have sworn she heard the JSD Member screaming something about only needing her railgun, or well, she wasn't sure as she was too busy panicking for one of her beloved Aunties.
She didn't want to lose another family member, she WON'T lose another one!
She remembered she had the capabilities to temporarily fly for a few seconds and deployed her Hard-light hologram wings, something all Hybrids eventually get as teenagers, before they eventually get the same bladed wings as adults, currently there's no adult Hybrids.
Since the usual metallic sword wings(something she really thinks is cool) is still too much for the bodies of Hybrid Teenagers including their internal programming, the use of Hard-light Holograms that allowed them to hover for a few seconds was made as a temporary substitute.
She took off flying as fast as she could, she flipped the safety on her weapon and turned it on, the Plasma Railgun coming to life as violet light hummed in power.
She wasn't sure if this was going to work, her Railgun might have been finished and only needed a test run, but she still wasn't sure of how strong the output would be, or if it would be safe to shoot.
Sure, she showcased it in class for a few seconds before her Teacher confiscated it away with her cheat powers, but there was no way she was going to turn it on!
She was only going to show it! No way she would have risked her classmates' lives.
Her thoughts died out when she saw that her wings started to flicker, a sign that she had to land.
Luzi landed in an alleyway and started running off as fast as she could, hybrids may not be as fast as real Disassemblers, but their wings could still get them to considerable reaches.
She was currently a street away from the Mall, she came running out of the Alleyway and saw multitudes of JSD members regrouping inside a building, which had a side of it destroyed.
Pretty much could be said for the entirety of this street, it looked like a battlefield.
Luzi didn't waste any time and ran towards them, the group of JSD's were clearing as they helped out someone outside the door.
Luzi gasped in horror, that someone being J was badly injured, fortunately alive.
Her left upper thigh had some bright and still hot markings of something being mended back together, Luzi didn't have to guess why considering there were Repair Drones helping J walk.
She lost her leg..!
Luzi grew more and more worried, she wasn't going to lose another family member.
No, never again.
NEVER.
AGAIN.
"Auntie!" Luzi screamed out her voice box, she was running towards them with tears in her eyes.
J heard her and flinched, she could barely move as the right side of her face was completely busted.
Thankfully the Repair drones arrived and worked on her double time, if only rearranging her leg which was retrieved by one of her employees.
At least this way she could get back into the fight..
If Meili and the Russian Bitch are still alive, that is.
Her core fell to her stomach when she heard the voice of her niece running towards them.
WHAT was she doing here?! She only ordered for the weapon to be brought to her, not her niece! She was going to get killed here if she stayed damn it!
Knowing her oldest niece, she probably rushed here without even listening to the JSD she sent!
"Luzi! No! Get out of here!" She yelled, she needed Luzi away from this battlefield. "Ruther, grab three members and accompany my niece to safety, and bring her Invention to me!" She ordered to Ruther who was looking out for the Eldritch.
She needed a few minutes to get her left leg back online, she couldn't move properly right now so she prompted to order them instead.
"Ma'am!" Ruther saluted and grabbed three members alongside him, all running towards Luzi.
J sighed in relief that the Eldritch wasn't nearby. Though that didn't stop her from worrying about Meili, was her friend okay?
Screw Doll, she knows the Russian bitch is too stubborn to die.
"Auntie!" Luzi shouted again as she ran towards them, she saw her cold and strict auntie order out her Employees, four of them running towards her, likely to give her cover or help her, she didn't care, she was happy that her Auntie was still snappy enough to give orders. She ignored J's warnings however, too preoccupied with relief and worry.
She smiled as she waved at her auntie while running towards them. J couldn't help but give out a small smirk at the sight of her Niece, but she wanted her out of here now.
"Auntieeee!" Luzi was more than just a few meters away from the JSD members.
When her world suddenly exploded in a dust of smoke and debris. The wall in front of her exploded violently as something slid in front of her.
A towering form that overshadowed her, a presence that made her come to a stop as her body began to almost immediately tremble in fear.
In front of her was an Eldritch.
"Uzi! Get her out of here! I'll deal with this!" Her papa yelled in utmost seriousness, a side she'd never seen before as she always saw him as goofy and kind.
"Baby come on!" Her mama slung her in her arms, she tried to pick her up but Mama's legs were damaged.
She continued to tremble and shake in fear as she watched her Papa fight the monster that hurt Mama, Papa was struggling to protect her and Mama because Mama couldn't move
She closed her eyes and tuned out everything until she heard Mama scream.
Why was Mama screaming... ?
Ahh.. Why.. Why is Papa holding his chest..? Was... that his core?

"NOOOO PAPA!"
"A-Ah.." Luzi whimpered in fear, memories of her Papa dying came flooding back for an instant, she couldn't move in fear, everything else became slow as she looked at the Eldritch in fear.
"P-Papa.. S-Save me.." Tears started to appear in her eyes.
J's world slowly went cold, that shitty bastard was in front of her niece. Why?! Why come for Luzi when she is still In here!
Damn it, damn it! Please! Not her, not her niece!
She grit her teeth in fear, the next coming seconds coming close to a stop.
"Luzi!" She screamed like a banshee, the Eldritch was still staring down at her for some reason, but she didn't care, as long as it didn't hurt Luzi.
J pushed off the Repair Drone that was supporting her and dug her right leg as hard as she could and dashed forward.
Desperation took over her, Ruther and his men were sprawled across the street since they were close to the wall.
Suddenly, the world grew unbearably bright as a violet light temporarily encompassed everything, prompting J to cover her eyes. The JSD members also did the same as it was too bright.
It's as if the sun decided to dye itself violet and appear in the underground.
A shockwave nearly blew her off her feet if she hadn't dug held on.
The light slowly dispersed and she swiftly looked back, worried for her niece.
Looks like she didn't have to, her niece was trembling while holding her Railgun, she was currently sitting on the cold ground, several feet away from where she originally stood.
The Eldritch wasn't there anymore, the moonlight shining down on where they stood.
...
Moonlight?
J looked up, her mouth fell to the floor like a hammer at what she saw.
Her niece's Railgun was stronger than her mother's.
It was no competition, there literally wasn't even one.
Her niece was smart enough to aim it upwards where there was no one to get hurt or hit by the blast.
Because there was a hole the size of a house on the ceiling of the underground, there wasn't even anything falling, no rocks or giant pieces of the ceiling..
Meaning, it completely incinerated everything.
Holy shit.
Her niece was a genius
Her eyes met with Luzi, who was now no longer trembling in fear, but rather trembling from the force of her invention, even her JSD's were flabbergasted.
"G-G-Guess I-It worked?" Luzi said awkwardly.
J released a massive relief, the Eldritch was finally gone and her niece was safe, that was what was important.
But somehow, that feeling of dread was still there.. Rather than disappearing, it grew bigger.
Something was wrong.. Something was.. Wrong.
STAB!
The sounds of inner machinery being blown open echoed deeply, J's eyes widened, everything slowed down.
A disgustingly sharp tail wiggled in delight, covered in fresh Oil.
Luzi felt light, she was somehow lifted off the ground and she didn't even realize it..
Why was there a weird limb wiggling in front of her, like it was coming out of her stomach..? That didn't make sense..
She looked down.
Oh.. So that's why.. She missed.
Everything deafened for J as she screamed the loudest she's ever had, this was the first time she's ever screamed in horror.
That feeling of dread grew even bigger.
...
...
" LUUUUZZZII !"
A yellow light briefly encompassed the area as it went through the hole that was made by the power of Luzi's Plasma cannon, through it. A lightning speed blurred downwards the earth as a whole house near where J was destroyed by something slamming downwards with ungodly speed.
The crash created a huge gust of dust before it immediately disappeared from the whirling of wings, an identifiable heat that Disassemblers Emit pressed down on the area.
V didn't think at all, she was moving on pure instinct, if she ever had one. She saw a familiar ray of light from the surface just above where Outpost Alpha was located, she didn't waste any time because she knew there was only one source that light could have come out of, she had immediately dived down the hole the violet light made.
Hearing J's horrified scream was more than enough to let her know of what was happening,
It wasn't just a scream, it was a scream for someone, that someone being her adoptive daughter.

And she's never been so angry before.
