章 26: chapter 26
I went to where Suyin was, she was training bolin and korra again. I sat from atop the pavilion where I would be able to see the entire battle.
Also I could get the chance to sucker punch Suyin. Suyin was showing them the beginner forms of metal bending when a not in her mind lin walked up dripping of sweat.
Lin sent a shockwave through the ground. All of the odd rocks were knocked off from their pedestals. I walked down to get in range of the battle so my stand could sucker punch Su. Lin waved me off and said "don't interfere, jojo"
Then she went back to glaring at Suyin, lin said "It's time we talk" a spoon could cut the tension between these two.
Suyin said harshly "after thirty years, you're finally ready to talk" lin walked foward, her leg amour clanked and creaked. Lin said "when we were in mom office that day, you could've taken responsibilityfor what you did, but instead you stayed quiet and let mom throw her whole career away"
"Mom didn't throw her career away. She retired the year. She was a hero" suyin replied playing the 'victim' and lin said "you think she wanted to retire she was so guilt ridden about what she did to protect you, she didn't feel worthy about her badge"
"Look I admit that I was not a perfect kid, and I've made some mistakes in the past, but" suyin said but was cut off by lin who started chuckling then said mockingly "you made some mistakes" lin shook her head side to side in a mocking manner.
I chuckled too and said "and In the past, this morning you were insulting lin, you insulted me and yesterday you said 'it easy to tell lin raised you' what's that supposed to mean" lin's face got angrier looking.
Lin screamed angrily "you can insult me, but don't insult my son, he's not apart of this fight"
This pushed lin over the edge and she started hit her leg on the ground and a large boulder flew up a foot off the ground.
Lin hit it and turned it into small rocks that flew at insane speeds. Me being me, I still had my stand reflect light into suyins eyes.
Suyin who couldn't see shit, blocked about three quarters of the rocks. The other quarter ripped her clothes and cut her. Lin ran over to the cut up Suyin and said "holy shit, I thought you could block it"
Korra ran over and helped Suyin up. Lin who was still dripping with sweat almost passed out. Suyins family rushed over after hearing the comotion and then ran over to help suyin.
2 beifongs down because of the sun.
PRAISE THE SUN.
Lin passed out and I picked her up. Korra took suyin to the infirmary and I took lin to her room to rest.
I set lin down on her bed then left for the infirmary. Suyin was in a tub of water. korra was using what little water healing she knew.
Why didn't she use this on Wei. Maybe Wei's injuries were to severe for korra's limited water healing. Suyin only had light cuts.
Korra took Suyin out of the bath, her wounds were mostly closed. She was still conscious, unfortunately. I went back to lin who was still unconscious.
I went to bed, it was getting late. And I was tired, using my stand uses a lot of energy especially the light refracting thing.
It wasn't that late it was only 8 pm. I passed out, when I woke up it was Like 3 am. I couldn't go back to sleep so went around the estate looking for a certain kind of liquid.
A liquid that was usally colored a brown. I found a cabinet in the kitchen, it was full of wine and alcohol. I grabbed the nearest bottle and metal bended the lid off then started chugging it.
This body hasn't had that much alcohol in its lifetime so it felt like fire going down my throat. I almost threw up, but I got used to it after a few bottles.
I grabbed two final bottles, one with wine and one with some whiskey like alcohol. I walked out of the kitchen, I was completely shit faced.
I walked around the estate, I passed a few guards. I was drunk, and it was dark as hell. I fell to many times to count. Surprisingly I didn't wake anyone up.
I was bearly conscious, this was a pretty enjoyable adventure. It has been about three or four hours since I woke up, I was to shit faced to tell the time properly. People were starting to wake up, Mako came out of his room and found me practically passed out in front of his door with a bottle of wine and a smashed bottle.
I slurred "makooooooo, hoooooooowwwww arrrreeeeeeee youuuuuuuu doingggggg" "let's get you up and back to your room" Mako said while trying to help me up.
In my drunken state I earthbended him away from me then went back to walking around. I went back to my room and lin had just woken up.
She had gotten on those clothes that make her look preppy, the clothes that Suyin wears. She asked In a preppy tone "hey, what's got you in the dumps" and I replied "heyyyy motherrrrrrrrr, gladddd you're awakeeeeee"
She noticed the bottle in my hand and said "ohh, why don't you go to bed" last time she caught me drinking I got chained up with platinum. I finished off my bottle of wine then passed out instantly as soon as I touched my bed.
I woke back up and I was holding a bottle of wine like a small child holds a teddy bear. I got up and had a killer migraine, I got up and changed my clothes which had throw up on them.
I looked out a window and it was 6 pm by me guess and the clock said the same thing '5:51'
I went outside and to the dining hall, everyone was eating I walked in alte and got a few stares because I was shitfaced last night and God knows what I did. I ate fast like usual had some casual conversation with bolin.
Bolin started talking about "opal, we were just starting to get to know each other and now your off towards the northern Air temple, this stinks" "bolin, you are the nicest" opal replied.
Suyin gave a toast to opal "everyone if I could have your attention, tonight, my beautiful little girl leaves for the northern Air temple, opal, non of us could be more proud then me of my daughter"
