I went over to my ship which was filled with my mercenaries, I told them to start transporting the goods to the hills that surrounded the southern water tibes main city and pretty much only city.
We around little suspicion surprisingly. I started preparing the defenses. We had ammo boxes and rifles all set up, I gave a little inspirational speech to my mercenaries "Men, do not falter in killing the enemy, they wouldn't hesitate to kill you, so you shouldn't hesitate to kill them"
I gained some loyalty so they were less likely to turn on me, we had far more guns then we had gunmen. I went down to the city and found tonraq, I told him "We have our positions set up on the ridges outside of the city, but we don't have enough gun Men to appetite them so when the battle starts tell a small portion of you non-benders to got to the hills that way"
"JoJo, we have found a place where you could start making the Mg-08, it is in one of our people's basements, they live near those hills were your men are set up, I will guide you there" tonraq said as he gave the corresponding hand signals.
We walked and walked until we found a house; we entered, I went into the basement and found varrick and zhu li working on my schematics. He said "JoJo, it'll be great help to have a metal bender making our metal parts for us"
We started work on the Mg-08 which was a machine gun that fired at 8 rounds per second luckily those rounds were the same size as the ones we use for our rifles. With the three of us working non stop for hours, it made the progress fast but not easy.
We made it after almost a full days work, the extreme amount of parts and the mechanical parts made it hard. It was finished, we put it in a box to hide it then I walked it towards our positions.
I planted it down on the ground and made stone stakes to hold it down if a water bender pushed a wave of water or something. My mercenaries had not been noticed yet, these fools didn't expect a counter attack so soon.
I slept and ate with the mercenaries, that definitely gave some trust between us. If event s are going ad planned tonraq is kidnapped unalaq right now and from my memories of this episode korra shows up tried to stop them.
In the show tonraq wimps out of kidnapping his brother but in this world he doesn't. Currently he's in jail if everything is going to my plan. I went down the hill and told my men to get ready for a possible battle. I snuck around the palace and sure enough he's been captured.
Perfect grounds for civil war, I walked out into the streets and wishpered into the southern water tribesmens ears about the plan and to rally at the hill.
Slowly people gathered at the hill until we had numbers in the thousands. Most non benders would stay in the back and be medics and transport ammo across the front lines. We had around 1200 in total
I started using my earth bending to entrenched a postion, we had around 90 water benders. The plan was 15 would stay back and defend the flanks of the lines.
It was midnight and all was dead silent, in my camp most were asleep and the others were keeping guard. We would atrack right as the woke up, reason number one they would be groggy, reason number two I didn't wanna attack in the night because my soldiers were already bad shots.
I was awake and I went around telling my friends to get in the basement when the sun rose. They were confused but seemed like they would listen any way.
I didn't tell korra because she would tell the enemy's. Dawn came and the 1200 of us stood upon that ridge with pride and freedom coursing through our veins.
The sun was fully out so I yelled "45 WATER BENDERS GO DOWN AND TAKE DOWN THE PATROLS, 200 NON BENDERS WITH WEAPONS THAT AREN'T GUNS GO DOWN WITH THEM, REMEBER MILATATY TARGETS ONLY MAKE SURE THEY ARE AN ENEMY BEFORE ATTACKING"
I raised my revolver and then I heard the foot steps of hundreds rampage down the side of the ridge then down into the city. "GUN MEN HOLD FIRE UNTIL WE LOCATE THE TARGETS, REMEMBERTEH SIGNAL IS A LARGE ROXK TOWER THAT I MELT FOWN INTO lAVA"
I jumped over the defenses and rode down the ridge with earth bending. I ran into the city wearing my metal bender amour,in the streets northern water benders were winning against the inexperienced southern water benders.
I screamed for my troops to hear "NON BENDERS FALL BACK, WATER BENDERS FALLBACK" they all fell back as I made a massive stone tower then melted it down with lava bending.
From the ridge hundreds of ringing noises could be heard. Then most of the northern water tribe troops fell dead looking like Swiss cheese. "NON BENDERS AND WATER BENDERS, ADAVANCE TAKE THE CITY" I made a second tower of stone then melted it down to signal them to stop firing.
We had more then half the city under our control, the remaining check point was the palace. I went down to fight with the ground troops. I used my lava bending to eliminate a majority of the northern water troops.
This battle was in my favor so far. We had pushed back most of the northern water tribe troops to the palace which was basically a fortress. As we prepared to siege the palace the avatar walked up to the front and said "this wasn't the right thing to do, think about all the deaths you have caused"
I screamed back "history Is written by the winners, and so far it seems like I'm the winner" "Don't make me take you down" Korra said as she entered the avatar state.
I screamed "AVATAR KORRA, YOUR WEAKNESS IS YOUR EMPATHY, AND THE AVATAR STATE IS YOUR MOST VULNERABLE STATE, IF YOU DIE IN THE AVAATR STATE THEN THE AVATAR CYCLE ENDS, IT ONLY TAKES ONE BULLET"
"HOW DID YOU KNOW ABOUT THE AVATAR STATE WEAKNESS, THAT IS KEPT ONLY FOR FIRE SAGES AND THE AVATAR themselves" korra said as her eyes still glowed that bright white.
Korra had a thought then said "YOU WOULDNT DARE END THE AVATAR STATE" "DON'T TRY ME" I screamed back, I pulled up my revolver and aimed it at her legs.
I fired the bullet but used metal bending to change its course and hit a nearby northern water tribe soldier in the head. She got real pissy but didn't try me.
"How about I incapacitate every soldier in the palace but I spare them and pardon them" I said but she replied pissy in her avatar state "How About You Stop This War And We Resolve This Peacefully"
Mosaic pulled up behind me, of course only I could see him. He threw hundreds of glass shards at the chests of all enemy soldiers which incapacitated them. He threw a barrage faster then the avaatr could react at the gate.
There was a hole in the gate which I exploited by throwing a big ass rock at it. The gate collapsed and me and my troops charged in and I said "DON'T KILL JUST KNOCK THEM OUT OR NON FATALITY INJURE THEM"
I made Mosaic incapacitate the avatar so she wouldn't cause trouble. We took back the entire city, we captured unalaq and freed Tonraq and the others who were captured.
I was in the throne room and I sat down on the throne. I sat up quickly then realized what I had done and how many just died probably a few thousand, I had a mental breakdown in the middle of the throne room.
No one other then me was in here, I had a problem with going to far on things then realizing what I had done and regretting it immensely but those were minor things like cutting those gangsters to shreds.
This was different I was responsible for the deaths of thousands today. We had complete control of the city, I went outside after I fixed myself up of course
