章 41: Behind Enemy Lines

"Anything else?" Akira inquired as Xu Xena appeared uneasy after delivering her daily report.

After reviewing the information from Inner Elder Ming, he came down to the first floor to listen to her update. "There's nothing more. It's just..." Xu Xena hesitated.

 Akira waited for her to continue. "Speak," he urged.

 Xu Xena closed her eyes and exhaled deeply. "I believe I may have overlooked something in Inner Elder Ming's report," she confessed, causing Akira to raise his left eyebrow in curiosity.

"What is it?"

"I seem to have forgotten, but my intuition is telling me that I missed something. I apologize for that."

"When did it start?" Akira asked.

Xu Xena was puzzled at first but quickly grasped the situation. "Halfway back to the Dungeon," she explained.

Akira nodded, his eyes briefly gleaming with understanding. "Follow me," he instructed.
