As soon as I stepped through the door, I was greeted by the warm, familiar presence of Raven. She was already home, a soft smile lighting up her face as she saw me. Without a word, she crossed the room and kissed me, a sweet, lingering kiss that chased away the remnants of the day's stress.
"Welcome home," she murmured against my lips.
"Thanks," I replied, returning the smile. I set the takeout bag on the kitchen table, the aroma of the food mingling with the comforting scent of our home. "I brought dinner."
Raven's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "What did you get?"
"A little bit of everything," I said, starting to unpack the containers. "Some noodles, stir-fry, and a few spring rolls."
She hummed appreciatively, her hands already reaching for the chopsticks. "You always know what I like."
I laughed, taking a seat at the table. "I try my best. How was your day?"
