The looks Lily and Irene gave us were so heavy I could almost feel the weight of their disappointment. I knew there was no way I could tell them that Raven and I had slept together. I glanced nervously at Raven, but to my surprise, she seemed completely calm.
"How did you find us?" I asked, hoping to divert their attention.
"Jade, don't try to change the subject. Answer our question, and then we'll talk," Irene said firmly.
"We spent the morning flying around, and then we went shopping for the rest of the day before coming here," Raven explained calmly.
"And that's all you did?" Lily asked, raising an eyebrow suspiciously.
"Yes, that's all," I added quickly.
"Do you think we're stupid?" Irene's tone was serious, her eyes narrowing.
"And don't think we didn't notice the hickeys on both of you, or the fact that your scent is all over Raven, Jade," Lily pointed out, her finger accusingly pointing at us.
