In a corner, Erosa and Mai sat across from each other as if about to have an important conversation.

Nearby, Mihara eagerly tried to listen in.

As Mai's best friend, she felt it was her duty to know everything about her close friend and sister.

The other students in the classroom minded their own business, but a few were curious about what was going on between the two.

"Psst! What do you think they're talking about?"

"Shh! Stop it, dude! You're a guy; you shouldn't be concerned about what women are talking about unless they're interested in you. That's just uncool."

"Sigh~ yeah, I know, but I'm just curious."

"Ahem! Well, I wouldn't say I'm not curious either."

"See! You catch my drift."

"I mean, Takahashi is the most popular girl in the school, and then there's Erosa, who could be that with enough time. Maybe they're trying to form some sort of elite friendship?"
