Weekends were supposed to be a time to relax and have fun, but I had the distinct feeling that today was going to be anything but relaxing. Not with John and James, my ever-diligent but incredibly annoying bodyguards, tailing me everywhere. Still, a girl's gotta try, right?

"Yanyan, do you think they'll ever give us a break?" Yang Lixia, my best friend since forever, nudged me with her elbow as we walked out of the house.

I rolled my eyes, adjusting my sunglasses. "I doubt it. Those two are like gum stuck on the bottom of your shoe. No matter how hard you try, they just won't go away."

Wu Ling giggled, her eyes twinkling with mischief. "Well, we can always outsmart them. After all, we're not just pretty faces."

"You're right," I said, a smirk spreading across my face. "And I have just the plan."
