I cursed under my breath as her face invaded my thoughts yet again, those full lips curved into a maddening smirk that had become seared into my memory. Try as I might, I couldn't seem to banish the image of Huang Yanyan from my mind's eye.

Damn that girl and her dangerous flirting. One minute she was all wide-eyed innocence, the next a temptress boldly testing the limits of my restraint. I was the esteemed Wu Haoyu, master of my own domain, yet that little vixen had me tied up in knots with just a coy glance or brush of her lush curves against me.

I growled low in my throat as unwanted heat unfurled in my abdomen. Days had passed since that shocking, electrifying kiss she had laid on me, but I could still taste the sweetness of her mouth like a lingering phantom. An indelible brand seared onto my senses.
