Xu Feng was stunned when Ning Yi suddenly went to his knees, gazing at him with sparkly eyes. 

If it was some hot woman gazing at him with such sparkly eyes, then he would have enjoyed it a bit.

However, it was not and it was Ning Yi with his plump body. The floor nearly trembled in response to his sudden kneeling as well, giving him quite the fright.

And to frighten him slightly— that was a major achievement, considering how many things he had been through in the past timeline.

"Get up first, Yi." Xu Feng said, clearly afraid of him cracking the floor tile. 

"Yes sir," Ning Yi exclaimed, trying to get up but failed. 

As he struggled to get up, he turned to Xu Feng, looking at him with puppy eyes. Even a fool could tell he needed assistance to get up from his position.

What made it worse was that Xu Feng understood that Ning Yi had never gone on his knees before— not even his father.
