A shaky breath, tinged with relief, left Maximillian's lips as Julian and Angelique gently lowered him onto the sofa in the living room.

Angelique groaned as she too plopped down onto an armchair.

"ARGHHHH...!!!" she loudly complained. "Eugene, I want a glass of watermelon juice!"

When she did not see the child android scurrying out to serve her, she looked around in bewilderment.

"Eh? Eugene? Where is Eugene?"

"I sent him to sleep this morning," Julian answered. "He was up the entire night, almost draining his battery."

"Right."

Angelique draped herself dramatically across the armchair, fluttering her eyelids at Julian.

"Julian, can you please get me a glass of watermelon juice from the fridge...?"

Maximillian furrowed his brows at his sister.

"Angelique, Julian is not your butler."
