The border guards arrived late in the evening and reported that there was a disturbance in the forest below. They could not tell what it was, but it moved so fast and disappeared in plain sight.

"The fucking creature is finally here" Talon muttered.

"Come on" Cedric moved to the door" Let us go and find it."

"No. Silas and Talon will go first. "I pointed out.

"Yes "They both responded in unison and rushed out of the chambers.

"Why the fuck would you do that?" Cedric asked.

"You forgot the warning from Dragon Mountain?" I raised an eyebrow at him, and he closed his eyes for a second and then they snapped open.

"Thank you for the reminder. My head was all about attacking that damn thing and keeping everyone safe" Cedric's voice rose in defense.

"I understand. We need to remain focused. I am too tense to stay indoors, how about we hit the royal grounds?" I asked Cedric.
