With his eyebrows knitted tightly, Eddison picked up her cell phone.

The person she was talking to was the person in charge of the renovation company. He had sent her the recent update of the house renovation, and she was also asking him when it would be completed.

The text read, "Can you speed it up? How long do I have to wait before I move in once the renovation is done?"

Eddison almost forgot that she had two houses, and after she left the Zellweger family, there was absolutely a place for her to go.

Thinking that she would come back soon, he turned her cell phone back to the most recent chat box. Then, he put the phone back to its original position and helped her to lock the screen. 

After all, since she had been in the bathroom for such a long time, the phone screen should have been automatically locked.

Caroline thought that once she had gone to the toilet, Eddison would find out that she had lied before. However, when she sat down, she found that he had nothing to ask.
