章 41: Life in the dark

'Run. Fight. No run! Fight!' His mind was frantic. The creature roared, lunging its head forward aggressively, its frame towering over Finrod giving it an even more intimidating demeanor.

Finrod felt a gulp go down his throat. The fungi creature with a leap got to his face looking down at the elf. The red intermittent glowing heads were right above Finrod and his eyes were captured by their strangeness.

"RAHHHH!" The creature screeched, splattering a white slimy substance on Finrod's face and outfit.

Finrod turned his face away upon feeling the creature's saliva on his face, it was nasty however it had a sweet smell. Finrod wasn't buying into it however, he snapped out of his state of helplessness when the splatter hit him.

He turned, close to spinning and slammed his hand containing the ball of lightning on the Fungi revenant's face without hesitation.
