章 67: Psychotic

Oh, he's psychotic.

Roselia touched her mark, feeling a strange burning sensation at the idea of removing it. The only time a marked would feel something is if their lover was calling for them. That idea almost made Roselia laugh.

Atticus Kerpan was dead.

Roselia served her time.

"To replace the mark of another man requires a stronger, more possessive wolf," Cruden muttered, his voice smooth and slow. If they didn't know better, outsiders would think he was discussing the weather. 

Roselia's breath hitched. Suddenly, Cecil's words came ringing back to her. 

'Cruden Tiberias is obsessed with you,' Cecil warned. 'Not even divorce will separate him from you. And even in death, he will find a way to keep you… that is the extent of his obsession.'

Roselia didn't understand it then, but now, with her husband's dark presence lurking behind her, warmth seeping from his silhouette, she was beginning to see the bigger picture.
