Honestly, I must say, the leader of the Skaven was pretty strong, probably around 19 to 21 in strength. However, it was easy enough to push him away as I began to slaughter the other troops it brought, which proved not to be very difficult.
Sadly, I soon found my slaughter halted as the Skaven leader came rushing in, swinging his halberd at me. I dodged with an adept backflip towards a Skaven abomination, which had one giant arm and one tiny one. It tried to attack me mid-air, but my agility stat surpassed what it could ever hope to reach. In mid-air, I turned my body, barely dodging the punch, and delivered a kick to the arm while applying [Frost Strike: Lv1], causing the arm to get blown off. The abomination was left writhing on the ground as its toxic green blood leaked upon the ground.
Sadly, I didn't have time to admire my handiwork as the Skaven leader came rushing my way again. This time, something was different. Its fur seemed to have grown longer, with weird patches of green appearing in it, while its eyes took on a bright green neon glow. It was clear that this had something to do with the shaman, as I could see them channeling energy into the body of the leader.
Its body towered, delivering an overhead swing that I didn't plan to take directly. Judging from the ground, which shattered under the Swarm Lord's steps, its strength had grown by more than a simple 2 to 3 points. Not only that, but its agility also seemed to have increased as it followed me wherever I went, barely dodging its attacks. However, it wasn't one-sided, as I delivered several [Frost Strike: Lv1] attacks to its body whenever I found an opening. It seemed that its magic resistance and durability had increased, as it shrugged off the hits seemingly unbothered by my attacks. Nevertheless, I was not discouraged.
'Chance.' An opening appeared when the Skaven leader swung a bit wide, allowing me to get close and attempt an attack to its head. Though it didn't do much damage, it disoriented it enough for me to swiftly charge at the shaman. They were too focused on strengthening the leader to notice my charging form. I wasted no time slaughtering them before they could realize what was going on.
Unfortunately, I was blindsided by the Skaven leader, who recovered faster than I thought. It delivered one last devastating attack to my side before losing its buff. This attack cost me most of the ribs on that side, along with significant damage to a large bone in my arm. However, it was not much of a hindrance as I proceeded to beat the life out of the now unbuffed Skaven leader. It died with one silent squeak, which held an ungodly amount of emotion. However, I didn't let it slow my attacks. I received the experience like usual and moved on to continue slaughtering all manner of Skaven and abominations until there was no movement left in the area and no Skaven were alive to be seen.
