章 54: Another Star!

Shiva and his undead forces pressed deeper into the twisting tunnels of the human-faced spider's lair. The skittering of countless arachnid legs echoed all around them as more of the grotesque arachnids emerged from the shadows, their disturbingly human-like face atop writhing arachnid bodies making for unsettling opponents. 

Shiva smirked as the spider swarms intensified around them. With a casual motion, he unsheathed the ancient blade Kurukaze from his hip.

"Shall I have some fun too?" he mused.

The old sword seemed to thrum with eagerness in his grasp. {Ahhh, finally some action!} Kurukaze exclaimed. {It's been too long since I've tasted blood.}

"Last time? That was just three days ago," Shiva chuckled.

{When you are as old as me, each day feels like an eternity,} The sword retorted, its words laced with disdain.

Ignoring the sword, Shiva prepared to face the incoming spiders.
