"Alright, I'll tell them when I head out," Su Hongchen replied with a smile, his heart filled with gratitude for them. If it weren't for Jiang Yexun's insights and the information he had extracted from those people, Su Hongchen would still be running around in circles without a clue.
Even if they had found the suspects, there was no guarantee they would have uncovered any solid evidence.
"Okay, go get some rest now. Who knows, there might be even more work waiting for you when you wake up," Mrs. Su advised him lovingly.
Su Hongchen nodded, quickly freshened up, and hurried back to his room to sleep.
When Su Xiaoxiao woke up, Su Hongchen had only been asleep for about an hour. Seeing her parents signaling for quiet as they cleaned up, and pointing towards Su Hongchen's room, she tiptoed cautiously.
"How did it go? Did you find the stuff?" Su Xiaoxiao asked in a soft voice as she sat at the table.
