Ren somehow managed to get a hold of his rampant emotions. He placed the earplugs back in the tiny box. Who would have thought that the first time he would use these things would be to receive the bad news?

His firsts were really cursed.

There was this sudden urge to throw both his communicator and the earplugs away. However, he could not afford that. There was one thing that managed to console him. At least, now, he was well-informed.

If Derik directly showed up in front of him, Ren was sure that he would have attacked him without any care for his health and he would, once again, be suffering from internal injuries.

He plopped on his bed, his mind racing with various thoughts when it hit him. In all the hustle and bustle he forgot about his most powerful weapon. His system and the system mall!

 It slipped his mind that he could just use System Mall. The System Mall was stocked with various gadgets and tools, many of which could provide protection.
