I really enjoyed the first couple dozen chapters. What's bothering me about this novel is generally just the extraordinarily long filler chapters in Rivendell and the fact that the MC has too many free cheats. Filler is important after extended action in order to calm down to avoid fatigue. But practically all suspense was sucked out when the filler was used to give the MC more power, political backing, prestigious bloodlines and such than he really needs for his quest. LOTR has a soft magic that isn't really all that explained. For the purpose of this story, giving the MC a half-elven hero bloodline would've been enough. But the cheats just keep coming. And when he couldn't decide between two great system rewards, he was just given both as a freebie. Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy this fanfic. I like that it tries to be lore accurate most of the time. I'm just not in love with the system and system rewards, as they take away from the immersion by rewarding the MC with powers from other franchises. Author, if you see this, I want you to know that you're doing good for a first novel. Better than myself, because you can keep improving your story despite the criticism, while I put mine on permanent hiatus due to personal doubts and a lacking maturity to process criticism.
beyond a great story and writing and always can't wait for a new chapter. always recommend to my friends to give a read.

In my 5 years on this platform I never believed that I would find a fan of the universe created by Tolkien!It's extremely amazing to read this fanfic and, I hope there are more authors of this universe Congratulations author, you did a great job and I hope you make other fanfics in other universes. Like The Witche, Elden Ring and God of Wae
This is an amazing Fan Fic of The Lord of The Rings epic which starts with meeting Gandalf before he visits Bilbo. So far I like all the characters in the story even the ones that don't exist in the original work. My only wish is for faster chapter release but if that lowers the quality, I am happy to wait.
I don't know why, but when I read most of the fanfiction in webnovel, it's like I'm degraded and stupid. No, I'm dumb as it is, but it's like I get even dumber when I read fan fiction here.

it's good , grammar is nice and readable, plotlin is smooth ,mc cheat is lite and low key ,i binge read it in one day
Very good. The only downside is the slower release which is fine given the substance and progress of each chapter so it balances out pretty well. Also the writing quality, with having the occasional grammar mistake. Overall Rating: 4.6/5 (Then again, I am a LotR fan... so I might have some bias)

Hey man! At the beginning when you mentionned that the fic is inspired by start in lord of the rings i knew that the fic was going to be goatesque. I wasn't decived ! The only downside is that there aren't enough chapter! Keep cooking.
WHY ARE PEOPLE DUMB THIS NOVEL IS AN AWESOME READ IT HAS SPIRIT..AUTHOR WHY NOT PUT AN ANCIENT MECHA IN THE GODS MADE FOR THE HERO NAMED ESCAFLOWNE..the hero can summon Escaflowne anytime in a battle AUTHOR WHY NOT PUT ESCAFLOWNE AS BORN FROM A DRAGON KING a steampunk mecha ..author watch the anime's awesome story..THANK YOU FOR THIS FUN NOVEL
Muy buena novela me encanta la forma en la que combina la historia del libro con el personaje en si. La historia "original" que dice el autor que es la historia que de basó yo no la encontré, me gustaría que alguien me pase un link o cómo encontrarla así puedo hacer una mejor comparación entre una historia y la otra. Pero con la historia sin palabras, se puede decir que es la historia que más espero. Sigue así que vas por buen camino, por más historia así 💪💪💪

I've tried to look for a LOTR fanfic before, but to be honest? I've never found anything like this.

I am being held captive and threatened by some weird, grotesque creatures in to writing a positive review. I've already told them my meat is not for consumption!
This review is to say that in the end I regretted translating, I am creating my own version of the fic with a slight inspiration from the Chinese novel. I appreciate your support and advice to improve both my grammar and my writing.
