章 101: Strings of deception

Dora and Archi went back to the palace looking so sad, "Nothing should happen to her," Archi sniffed.

"Nothing will happen to her, she will be fine," Dora caressed his head.

"Who did that to her? Why is that person so wicked?" He palmed his face.

"Let us just pray she gets well, and of course she will," she consoled him.

"I hope nothing happens to her," he bit his lips, praying for her health for the umpteenth time.

"She will be fine," Dora said again.

They entered the palace together to find a worried Elena and Oberon.

Dora tightened her lips and tried walking past them but Oberon stopped her.

"Wait, please, tell us what happened? Where is she?"

Dora shrugged, "With the doctor of course," she secretly rolled her eyes.

"I know, but is she fine? What did the doctor say?"

Dora looked away, tears threatening to fall down her face.

"She is close to death," she whispered.
