After deciding to press forward, Jason left the scene of her latest triumph behind. His map, now displaying 98% completion of the exploration of Sea Beast Corridor, promised that his journey was nearing its conclusion.

Ahead, several icyocorurs milled about helplessly, blocked by an invisible barrier. It shimmered with a faint, ethereal white light, devoid of any detectable magical aura, yet clearly strong enough to prevent icyocorurs from entering.

"A magical mechanism here as well?" Jason murmured in surprise, eyeing the tall statue just beyond the barrier. Its presence suggested it was the source of the magical obstruction, a one-way barrier designed to block entry from the outside while allowing denizens of the Labyrinth to exit.
