Joey was already waiting outside.
He sat on his motorcycle, one long leg planted on the ground. He had restyled his hair with gel, and the two silver earrings on his ears sparkled in the sunlight. When he saw Linden come out, he nodded and motioned for Linden to hop on the back of the motorcycle, reminding him, "Don't touch my tail."
Joey's sleek, shiny tail was securely wrapped around his waist, and Linden had no intention of touching it. He wasn't in the mood for playful teasing with his friend anyway.
The motorcycle passed through a cross-layer tunnel and stopped at the entrance of a billiards club in the underground second layer. Linden jumped off the bike and looked up at the shadowy sign above the heavy wooden door: Dark Moon.
