After hearing the eunuch explain the situation, Ethan nodded silently.

There was a ceremony like that at the banquet? Ethan glanced up at Consort Min, who was sitting up on the platformed seat.

It wasn't that he was unprepared when it came to Consort Min, but something didn't sit well with him. Ethan's eyes traveled to Cedric, who was sitting in his seat.

Nothing seemed different about him. The voices of the nobles enjoying the banquet were annoyingly loud, but Ethan remained cold.

However, when Cedric's face grew pale, Ethan's aura sharpened as well.

"What is going on?"

He wasn't exactly sure what Consort Min was trying to do. However, he had heard that Adelina and Cedric had first met when he had seen her from on top of the pagoda at a Buddhist temple.

Although it was not the same pagoda from the Buddhist temple, a pagoda was set up in the middle of the banquet.
